These galas will take place at Northolt Leisure Centre and are licensed by Swim England at Level 3 under Licence number 3LR? & 3LR?. The Meet will run short course (25m) in accordance with Swim England Laws and Swim England Technical Rules of Swimming and the rules and conditions of this competition. This meet will only be open to clubs affiliated with MCASA.
Coaches/Team Managers will only be allowed on poolside if visibly wearing a coach’s pass.
This meet is being run as a Level 3 Gala. Swimmers entering this Meet must enter their current Short Course best times. Swimmers must NOT enter faster times than the upper limit or slower times than the lower limit as shown in the time standard table. This includes relay swimmers. Swimmers entering with No Time (NT) will not be accepted. No time trials will be accepted.
The events will be:
50m all strokes; 100m IM for boys and girls. Age groups will be 9/10; 11/12; 13/14
4 x 50m F/S relay & Medley relay (maximum of 3 teams per club per age group). Team Age groups will be 9/10; 11/12; 13/14
Medley skins –fastest 8 athletes from 100IM across all ages.
Officials and non-technical Volunteers
Each Club represented at the meet must send a coach and a COVID marshal/accredited volunteer to accompany swimmers. If only one swimmer is competing from a club, a coach may assume the additional responsibilities of a COVID marshal. Coaches and Team Managers must be club trained personnel and clubs are asked to maintain the recommended ratio of 1:20 helpers/swimmers + 1 COVID marshal/accredited volunteer.
